Chapter Patch and Feather Requirements
Arrowmen can earn the Chapter Patch and Feathers by following the requirements listed below:
JACKET PATCH Requirements: Attend 3 Chapter Meetings and 3 Lodge Events (ie; Ordeal, LEC, Fellowship)
FEATHERS
- Membership - Give date of membership level
- Ordeal
- Brotherhood
- Ordeal
- Eagle Scout - Give date of advancement
- Chapter or Lodge Officer - Hold office for one full term (year)
- Chapter - Elected and secretary
- Lodge - Elected and substantial chair (ie; Brotherhood Chair, Ordeal Master, Vigil Chief)
- Fundraiser - Work 2 full events (ie; District Camporees, Webelos Woods, Twilight Camp, DAD's Day, Paulding Independence Festival)
- Election Team/Camp Promotions - Total of 6 to earn feather
- Service - 25 Hours Community Service (off Council Property), 25 Hours Chapter Service (on Council Property) - Total of 50 Hours combined service
- Drum Team - Must perform at an official eventat Lodge or Chapter
- Dance Team - Must perform at an official event at Lodge or Chapter, perform in regalia, medal at NOAC or Conclave
- Individual Dancer - Must perform at an official event at Lodge or Chapter, perform in regalia, medal at NOAC or Conclave
- Contingent Member
- Training - Participate as a Training Team Member (ie; District/Council Training Staff, Merit Badge Counselor, ITOLS, SALT, Camp Promotion, Wood Badge, Webelos Woods, DADS Day, Twilight Camp, Sea Badge, Powderhorn) - Serve for 1 year.
- Special Recognition - (ie; Founders, Lodge Cook Team, Meritorious Award, Silver Beaver, Wood Badge Course Staff, JLT/NYLT Staff, District Award of Merit, Whitney Young, Religious or award of same caliber)
- Ceremony Team - Must serve on a minimum of 2
- Arrow of Light
- Pre-Ordeal
- Ordeal
- Brotherhood
- Vigil
- Logistics Team
- Elongomat - Serve as an Elongomat 3 times
- Neimat - Serve as a Neimat 3 times
- Summer Camp Staff - Work minimum of 4 weeks - CIT does count.
- Camporee Staffing - Event staffing, Campfire MC, Attend as Staff - Minimum 2 Camporees
- OA Troop/Team Representative - Must Complete Term
NOTE: THE FIRST REQUIREMENT TO RECEIVE EITHER PATCH OR ANY OF THE FEATHERS IS TO HAVE DUES CURRENT.
In positions where an Adult is the official Advisor, feather is for Youth/Adult
